• Holiday Extravaganza at the St. Rose of Lima Parish Center in Denison: This event features over 80 different types of holiday cookies and candy which are sold by the pound. Sixteen holiday vendors will be there to help you with your holiday shopping.
• Manilla Vendor & Craft Fair: from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Located at the Manilla Memorial Hall. Crafts, Vendors, Food and stop and see Santa & Mrs. Claus. The area’s largest animated Christmas collection will be on display! Call Pat Palmer to reserve your spot. 712.269.4217
• Santa Claus Days in Schleswig: At the Community Building, 204 2^nd Street. Craft Show with over 35 tables of crafts and craft related items. Santa arrives midmorning with sacks of “goodies” prepares by the members of the community Club. • Open House “Christmas in America” at the McHenry House: Join us from 1:00-4:00pm. Please call Sue Bergamo 269-2791 if you are interested in helping decorate. As a fund raiser we are having “Your Favorite Tree” competition again. ½ of their votes at the conclusion of the open house. New this year, there will be a winner on each floor. The winner last year was “The Wine Club” with $104 which they donated back to the Historical Society.

Saturday, December 6

• Dow House Vintage Christmas: From 1:00 – 4:00 at the Beautiful Dow House in Dow City. Come tour the Dow House and vote for your favorite room decorated for the holiday season. Free will donation and goodies too!!
• Have your pets Picture taken with SANTA PAWS: 1:00-4:00pm at Black Hills Energy on 7th Street next to Mahoney & Gotto Co. Call 263-6809 for an appointment or for more information. Walk-ins are welcome. All proceeds go towards helping the homeless animals of Crawford County. In loving memory of Shadow.
