- Community LEGO® Drive: Co-Sponsored by: Norelius Community Library & Denison-Schleswig High School Interact Club. Call 263-9355 for more information. Drop Off Points: Hy-Vee, Fareway, Bomgaars supply, Cronk’s cafe, Denison-Schleswig high school & Norelius Community Library. The LEGOs® collected will be added to the Library’s LEGO® collection for use during LEGOs® Clubs throughout the year!
Friday and Saturday, March 13-14
- Night of Jazz: At Cronk’s Café in Denison. Seating starts at 6:30 with dinner served at 7:00. Reserved seats only – no tickets available at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the high school, or through any Jazz One or Singing Ambassadors member. Tickets are selling fast. Get yours today.
Saturday, March 14
- Legislative Coffee: 10:00am to 11:00am at Cronk’s Restaurant in the Angus Room. Come to share your thoughts and concerns with our legislators. St. Patrick’s Day Parade: at 1:00pm in uptown Denison. No registration needed, line up begins at 12:30pm by the post office.
- The doors open at 5 p.m. this Saturday for the Pheasants Forever Crawford County chapter banquet at the Boulders Conference Center. For more information, or to purchase tickets, individuals may call Miller at 712-269-1834 or KR Buck at 712-269-1508.
- Vendor and Craft Fair from 10am-2pm at the Zion Lutheran Church Gym, Denison. Free Will Donation. Lunch Provided by Zion Lutheran Youth Group.
- The Boy Scouts of Troop 55 in Denison will conduct their March paper drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at the Walmart parking lot.

- The Drama Ministries Ensemble (DME) of Northwestern College, Orange City, will perform stories from the Old Testament at United Church of Christ, 409 Maple Avenue in Schleswig, on Sunday, March 15, during the 10 a.m. worship. Community members are invited.

- Eco Family Project: Starts Mar 19, Iowans will learn how to maximize their resources and share their extras during the 2015 Eco Family Project from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, which begins March 19 and runs through June 11. - Rebecca and Kuba: 7:30pm at the Donna Reed Theatre. Kuba returns with another unique show, this time showcasing his wife Rebecca, a broadway and Country Singer, and himself and his virtuosity on the vibraphone, and other percussion instruments. Their repertoire of diverse styles combined with their chemistry creates a variety show that delights every audience.
