The Boy Scouts of Troop 55 in Denison will conduct their September paper drive on Saturday, September 13, at the Wal-Mart parking lot. The Boy Scouts will be there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help individuals unload their tied, bundled or sacked newspapers.

Sunday, September 14

Denison American Legion Post 8 Pancake Breakfast 7:00 a.m. to Noon at the National Guard Armory, Denison.
3:30-7:30 p.m. Annual St. Rose Parish Pork Loin Dinner. Parish Center, 916 2nd Ave. So., Denison. Adults: $11; $5 Children 4 to 11; Free for children 3 and under.
