Crawford County Breast Cancer Awareness Walk: brought to you by The Hospital Foundation of Crawford County. Registration for the Walk begins at 8 a.m. and the Walk begins at 9 a.m. at Yellow Smoke Park. Proceeds from the Walk will go to support breast cancer awareness programs and to fund mammograms for women needing financial assistance. A fundraiser 5K walk will take place at the Great Western Park in Manning on Saturday, October 4, to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Foundation’s work to find new treatments and a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The theme for this year’s event is “Walk Today. Add tomorrows.” Registration for the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Great Western Park shelter house.
