First Friday Films presents “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”: At the Donna Reed Theatre. Only $5. 7:00pm show time. Sponsored by Buena Vista University.
Women in Business Impact Organization: from 8:30-9:30am. At Cronk’s in Denison. Membership is Free and unless it is a sponsored event, all participants will be responsible to pay for their own refreshments.
Denison High School will present the musical “Chicago,” written by Fred Ebb and John Kander, on Frday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The Boy Scouts of Troop 55 in Denison will conduct their November paper drive on Saturday, November 8, at the WalMart parking lot. The Boy Scouts will be there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help unload tied, bundles or sacked newspapers.

The 28th annual Christmas Crusade for Children will begin airing on KDSN Radio on Wednesday, November 12. The goal of the program is to identify children age 13 and younger who, due to family financial restraints, may not be receiving anything for Christmas. A list containing the ages, gender and gift requests of the children is given to KDSN, which announces the information on the air to encourage citizens and organizations from the community to purchase gifts for the children.
