- Startup! Western Iowa · Entrepreneur & Small Business Conference: The CDC’s day-long conference for new entrepreneurs puts all the resources you need in one room, inspiring you to take the leap and successfully run your own small business! Your $30 admission includes breakfast and lunch, five educational sessions ranging from financing to “legal stuff”, and an inspiring keynote from our special guest speaker, Steve Linn (highly successful) owner of The Iowa Craft Beer Tent! Event is 8am-4pm, concluding with a special networking session featuring a variety of Iowa made beers!

- The Crawford County Conservation Board will host an open house at the newly constructed cabin, Cabin #3, at Yellow Smoke Park east of Denison. The open house will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 15.

- Crawford County Arts Council presents “American Tapestry”- Female trio of piano/fiddle/cello & vocals: Performance will be at the Donna Reed Theatre in Denison at 7:30pm. - Open House “Christmas in America” at the McHenry House: Join us from 1:00-4:00pm. Please call Sue Bergamo 269-2791 if you are interested in helping decorate. As a fund raiser we are having “Your Favorite Tree” competition again. New this year, there will be a winner on each floor. The winner last year was “The Wine Club” with $104 which they donated back to the Historical Society.

- Holiday Open House & Recipe Walk: Join us from Noon-4pm for this annual event to support local retailers and to get a head start on your holiday shopping! Thrivent Chapter Leaders have volunteered to do FREE gift wrapping! Recipe walk starts at the Donna Reed Theatre.
