• Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers! Volunteer once a week or every other week. You can also be on call. 11am-12pm. Free lunch can be provided to volunteers. Vehicle and driver’s license required for drivers and volunteers without vehicle can still help. Contact Maxine Murphy, Site Manager of Senior Center at 263.4950 or 269.5952.

• Iowans who wish to pre-register to vote for the June 3 primary election must do so by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23. To register to vote, download the State of Iowa Official Voter Registration form from www.sos.iowa.gov and return it to the local county auditor’s office or visit your local county auditor’s office to fill out a paper copy.

• Live Healthy Iowa Post Party: from 12:00-1:00 at CCMH conference rooms C & D. A light lunch will be served. Team awards will be handed out, as well as drawings for CDC gift cards. • “Preserve the Taste of Summer” home food preservation class at the ISU Crawford County Extension and Outreach office, 35 South Main Street, Denison. Times of the classes are 2 and 5 p.m. Call the office at 712-263-4697 to register. Cost is $5.
