“Laps for Lyric” at Crawford County Speedway: This fundraiser is being held on behalf of Lyric Hildebrant who is a Denison toddler recently diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. There is no known cure at this point and the prognosis for children who have it (only 1 in every 33,000) is grim. Our mission is to raise awareness about Dravet Syndrome and raise funds to support the research being done to try to find a cure. 100% of proceeds from the event go to The Dravet Foundation for their research on behalf of little Lyric. We’ll be selling various items, giving out information on Dravet Syndrome, possibly having a raffle, and introducing Lyric and her mom at intermission of the races that night.
