The American Icon Series Presents “Roosevelt! – Living large the stories of the 26th President of the United States: At the Donna Reed Theater in Denison. Starting at 7:00pm. Tickets available for $15.00. Students 18 & younger $5. For tickets call 263-3334.

This Saturday, February 21, the Grand Giveaway jackpot will return to $300, and the name of one potential winner will be announced at noon at participating businesses.

Annual Charter Oak Community Club Auction & Dinner: Auction & BBQ with Dessert Bar. Free will donation. At the Charter Oak Community Building. Serving at 11:00 – Auction at 11:30. All Donations For The Auction Will Go Toward Debt.
Round Three of the Buck Grove Chili & Soup Cook-off: will be held at Lost Wages in Buck Grove, with entries being accepted from Noon until 3pm. Judging will begin at 3pm, with dining immediately after until 7pm. Entry is $7, free if you are competing. Children 12 and younger eat for free. The University of Iowa’s Latin Jazz Ensemble Concert: Event begins at 1pm at the Donna Reed Theatre. The concert is free and is open to the public. Sponsored by the University of Iowa Office of Outreach and Engagement, ArtsShare, Donna Reed Foundation, and the Northwest Iowa Regents Resource Center.
4-H Awards Banquet: at the First United Methodist Church, 113 S14th Street, Denison from 11:30 to 3:00 pm free will donation.

The 69th Ag Day and annual meeting of the Wesern Iowa Experimental Farm Association and agriculture program will take place on Friday, February 27, at the Beef and Brew Restaurant in downtown Mapleton.

Lunch and Learn: The Buy Eat Live Healthy lunch and learns are FREE to participants, at Noon at CCMH. Seats are limited so please RSVP by calling the Public Health office at 712-263-3303.
